Roz Forsyth, our General Manager, received this letter from one of our Aged Care students from one of our Tuggerah courses.
“Dear Ros,
I am writing to tell you that I just finished my Certificate III in Aged and Community Care. I have had a very bad year and thought I wouldn’t be able to cope with the course. The first few days were hard but I got through it all the homework,
assignments, clinical I didn’t think I could do it but I had the most amazing teachers. First Tanya who taught me invaluable things I will take with me wherever I go and then we had Wendy McNamara who I found the most caring down to earth lovely lovely lady I have ever met. I had so much fun on the course and met the most fantastic girls.
I just wanted to say that my confidence has boosted since this course and I commend Wendy for all her love and support. She is such a hard dedicated worker and never once complained she helped us all so much. She made my life different and if I could be half the person she is I would be happy.
I would just like to say that this course has changed me and helped me get through all my crisis and changed me for the better. I can’t wait to seek employment so I can have Wendy again for my Certificate IV as I want to go as far as I can now with nursing
Once again thankyou for giving us Wendy. She is an angel on earth and I miss class so much.

I am a 45 year old woman, wanting to re-enter the workforce. I undertook the Intercept Security Course and found it very interesting and informative, plus not to mention the people skills I have gained. It was a friendly atmosphere to learn in and I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in the Industry.

As a Security Guard, this student performs mobile patrol duties at night and recently found themself confronted by more than one intruder on the employers premises and under attack.
The Guard used the techniques practiced in the course and disarmed the offender/s, followed by securing personal safety....
The Student ..."I would not be alive right now if it had not been for the training I received at the Baton course, because of the training I was able to stay calm, analyse the threat and use the techniques learnt to defend myself and disarm the offender. It helped me use blocking techniques to save my arse. I want to let Brett know that his training saved my life".
