Intercept Group Pty Ltd is proud to offer the HLTFA301B - Apply First Aid (Statement of Attainment) which now replaces the previous WorkCover approved Senior First Aid Course.  While Australia has the best trained Paramedics in the World, the average response time for Ambulances in metropolitan areas is 13-14 minutes.

You can make a difference to your local community or while in the work environment, by learning simple skills which will provide you with a better opportunity to save lives of family, friends, workmates or others.

How to Enrol : Bookings essential.

Step 1. Enrolment
Come into our Training Offices : Newcastle, Tuggerah or Auburn

• Fill out the Application Form
• Provide Photo Identification (eg: Drivers Licence)
• Pay the Course Fee : $120.00 (Cost includes receiving Emergency First Aid book)
• You will then be given a theory workbook to complete. This workbook cannot be issued until you have paid for your course in full.

Step 2. Complete the Theory Workbook
A theory workbook must be completed prior to the commencement of the " One Day - Practical Training" day.

Step 3. Participate and complete One Day - Practical Training
The One Day Practical component of the course commences with a test, based on the theory workbook.

Please Note : If you do not bring the workbook with you completed, you will not be admitted into the Class.

The remainder of this practical day, relates to the practical aspects of First Aid, such as bandaging, bleeding, poisoning, cardiac arrest and CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation), etc., plus a range of associated topics.

Completion of Training
Completion of "Theory Workbook"' and "1 Day - Practical Training"
On successful completion of steps 1, 2 & 3, a Statement of Attainment HLTFA301B - Apply First Aid (valid for 3 years) will be issued.

Issue of First Aid Certificate
Please bring along on the day of your practical training, an A4 self-addressed stamped envelope (2 x 50c stamps) for your Certificate to be posted to you; or
Alternatively, you can collect your Certificate from our Tuggerah Head Office
Allow approx. 1 week to receive your Certificate/s in the post
