Intercept Training offers various Training Program Packages of Certificate III & Certificate IV in Aged Care Work. Intercept works closely with Aged Care Facilities within our communities to support both Job Seeker and Employer needs.
Residents and Non-residents on Visa's
- Family/Spouse Visa's : If you have arrived in Australia on a Family/Spouse Visa (eg; Sub Class 309), you are considered a resident of Australia and are permitted to participate in Tertiary Training (Fee for Service) at Intercept Training. However, you are not entitled to Government funded Tertiary training. Please discuss your Training options with your immigration agent.
- Student Visa's, Tourist Visa's, temporary visa's : Should you be visiting Australia on a Student Visa, you are not considered a resident of Australia and therefore Intercept Training cannot allow you to participate in Training with the Intercept Group Pty Ltd. Intercept Training is not CRICOS authorised, therefore we cannot offer training to non-residents of Australia. You will need to seek out a CRICOS Authorised RTO (Registered Training Organisation). Please discuss your Training options with your immigration agent.

Job Seekers are invited to contact us and discuss training/upskilling needs to enter the Aged Care Work industry.
- Fee for service - Paid by the Student
- Job Network Provider Funded - Fee for service using Intercepts J.A.T.E. Program
- If you have an Employer, allow us to organise a Traineeship for you - Certificate III in Aged Care Work
- Special Funded Programs - Partnerships organised with Employers, DET and Intercept. Employers need to contact Intercept Training.
Target Audience :
The Certificate III in Aged Care Work CHC30208 is specific training in Aged Care and includes Units on Disability and Home Care. It is primarily designed for those who work for or in an Aged Care Facility.
Pre-requisites (part of the enrolment process)
* a basic english language and literacy test
* a "Mandatory" National Criminal Police History Check for working with the Aged
* a Senior First Aid qualification.
* general good health
Course Content
Units of competency : this qualification requires the completion of 9 core units and 4 elective units = 13 Units.
Class Times : Monday to Friday (Daytime), Inclusive of Classroom tuition, Clinical Work Experience at an employers worksite, home study and assignments.
